Motrya developed by JSHGaming
"Excellent writing,
battles (in a sense it is the Shadow of the Colossus of RPGs, cutting
the crap and giving us nothing but bosses), and attention to
detail.” - SDHawk

Wandering Hamster developed by James `SPAM
Man' Paige "Fun and lighthearted,
Wandering Hamster is an OHR classic that would just looove
to be updated more often. (hint hint) The game features a very simple
plot that has always been endearing to me, and it has mini-golf. I love
mini-golf! In all honesty, if you downloaded the OHRRPGCE, this is a
must-play. If you've never heard of the OHRRPGCE, I'd still recommend
playing!" - Baconlabs

Walthros developed by Paul Harrington "Overall, one of the best
OHR games I've ever played. Enjoyed it from start to finish. But where
is the freaking remake?" – Meatballsub "Another OHR classic. Go
on an adventure. Gather crystals. Talk to a nutty walrus. Employ the
world's strongest worm. Meet Dinosaur Triple. Have fun. Write short
sentences about it." – Baconlabs |

Village People: The Videogame developed by Paul Harrington "Another RPG designed
strictly for entertainment, I think it accomplishes the rich
character/simple design combo perfectly. I hope it'll get an update
soon." – Pepsi Ranger |

Do You Want To Be A Hero? developed by Adam Perry "A really neat twist on
the engine's main genre" - Spoonweaver "Being able to guess who
the enemies would attack depending on how many attacked the first
character on his turn was a really neat battle system feature that I
don't think I've ever seen a game use before."
– FnrrfYgmSchnish |

Bloodlust
developed by Kitty and
Chicken "Very few OHR horror games
get it right. This one does a great job to promote an unsettling
atmosphere and has acceptable gameplay
at that." – Meatballsub "Undoubtedly the one OHR
game that has stuck to me. The story tugs at my heart strings while the
thrilling, chilling gameplay
keeps me on edge. Against my better judgement,
I did indeed play this at 3 in the morning, and the game's nightmares
bled into the world around me until I beat the final boss, and that's
when I thought it was all over. It wasn't. There's still something in
this game that compels me to return to it and challenge the nightmare
once more." – Baconlabs |

Attack Fish Chronicles
Volume I: The Omega developed
by Makers of
Cornbread Juice "Holy crap why hadn't I
heard of this game before. Excellent bosses, story direction, and novel
systems. It's the American RPG dream."
– SDHawk "More burning towns ending
with burg than anything ever. One of the more solid games on the engine
with a few ideas of its own, most of which actually work." – Shizuma

Vikings of Midgard developed by Fenrir-Lunaris "A very solid game
overall, with some of the best graphics you will see in an OHRRPGCE
game." - Meatballsub

Okédoké! La Leyenda
Mexicana developed by
Eddie Lee "It's rude in many ways,
but it covers quite a span of storyline and has one of the best visual
presentations for a straight-up OHR RPG to come out in a long time.
Even in its incomplete state, few games feel more complete than this
one." - Pepsi Ranger |

Slimes!
developed by Spoonweaver "I sat down and played
this for hours when I first downloaded it." -
FnrrfYgmSchnish "Highly polished gameplay
and challenging puzzles make this the definitive non-RPG on the engine." – Pepsi
Ranger |

Horse Game developed by Paul Harrington "HORSE GAME! It hates us
and loves us all the same. It has mazes and I think there might have
been a horse at the end, or a party." - Shizuma
"The voice acting not only
saves it from being stupid, but it actually accomplishes the rare task
of making it fun. When did we go from liking an OHR game strictly for
its graphics to strictly for its voice acting? What a strange world we
live in." – Pepsi Ranger |

Dragon Bustier developed by Shizuma "Shiz
kicks it old school again. With some polish, little more content, this
could be better than Horgoth
but not even a Dragon can bustier my SNES/Gameboy
Advance." – The Giz
"A well designed,
executed, and fun distillation of the RPG."
– The Mad Cacti |

Bell of Chaos developed by James `SPAM
Man' Paige "Probably the most
convincingly 8-bit of all the 8-bit games. Probably
the most unique method of attacking things in a platformer
I've seen in a long time, also. Just needs to be longer!" – FnrrfYgmSchnish "Just look at this game!
James' games are more polished than anyone else's,
and I wish everyone else would try harder to follow his example." – The

Sword of Jade: Parallel
Dreams developed by RPGCreations "Voting for SoJ is so untrendy these days. I'll never give up!" – The Mad Cacti "Love it or hate it, the player will walk away from Sword of Jade feeling some way toward it. How many other OHR games can you say that about?" – JSH357 Wiki Page |

Spellshard: The Black Crown of Horgoth developed by Harlock
and Shizuma "Incredibly sexy 8-bit
graphics and classic, old-school JRPG gaming at its best." – Meatballsub "This is one of those
games I've avoided for the longest time because the 8-bit classic RPGs
didn't seem like that much fun to me. Then I watched Shizuma
play it on Livestream
once and was immediately taken in by its awesomeness. Now I can't wait
for an update." – Pepsi Ranger |

The Adventures of Powerstick
Man developed by Pepsi
Ranger "Endless dialog filled
with occasional humor, Examining every mundane object. 80's Rock
Ballads. What more is there to say?" - Shizuma
"I'm pretty sure this has
by now surpassed all others as the biggest and most detailed OHRRPGCE
game." – The Mad Cacti |

All the Games developed by Barnabus "A man who deserves his
own Top 30 list, and also a man who stole plenty of music from the SNES/Gameboy
Advance." – The Giz
"It'd be a crime not to
see these crazy shenanigans on the Top 30."
– SDHawk |

Don’t Eat Soap! developed by James
`SPAM Man' Paige "Pretty much perfect
Bubble Bobble-type game. I just wish it was a bit longer... I never
came anywhere near beating the actual Bubble Bobble but finished Don't
Eat Soap on the first day." – FnrrfYgmSchnish "Like Bubble Bobble, this
was fun and interesting. Unlike Bubble Bobble, I could beat
it.” – Nathan
Karr |

Mr. Triangle’s Maze developed by RedMaverickZero "I love this game about
the angry triangle and his wonderful maze. The gameplay
is some of the most solid on the engine." - Shizuma
"Another fantastic puzzler
that I hear is just about finished for good. Can't wait." – Pepsi Ranger |

|
Sleepover
developed by Charbile "As
accurate a portrayal of Charbile's
sleepovers as you'll see outside of a courtroom. Not portrayed: His
SNES/Gameboy
Advance."
– The Giz “Both
a
loving
tribute to and brutal jab at the engine’s community,
containing a custom battle system and impressive visual effects,
Sleepover is far ahead of the curve when it comes to joke games
produced for the OHRRPGCE.” –

Tightfloss Maiden developed
by Pepsi Ranger "The world this takes
place in is quite immersive and intriguing; it felt like a huge
accomplishment when I managed to navigate it correctly. Exploration and
survival are key
in this game, and it builds up to a lot of mysteries that have yet to
be solved. I hope this will get an update soon." – Baconlabs "This is exactly my kind
of game. Ambience,
mystery, polish. Pepsi is a
great story teller even without words."
– The Mad Cacti |

Wilthawiya developed by The Giz "The best dating sim
on the OHR." – SDHawk "The sheer confinement and
repetition masks its true insight, for in the end, and to the terror of
the lonely worldwide, Wilthawiya
provides the perfect representation of inevitably what it’s
like to hold a woman in your arms." –

Puckamon developed by Eddie Lee "It's
even better than what
it pokes fun at, which was already a series I kinda
liked some." – Nathan Karr "Balance
issues and
enormous maps aside, nobody can deny that Puckamon
succeeds in having a fabulous visual style that is rarely utilized on
the engine." – JSH357 |

|
Legendary Heroes developed by Spoonweaver "Most
enjoyable traditional
style game I've played in a long time. If Spoonweaver
keeps adding to it, I'll keep playing it." – Pepsi Ranger "Spoonweaver
shocks us all by creating a generic RPG,
and a curiously entertaining one at that. Only
time will tell if it continues to deliver the goods.” – JSH357 |

Habla No Ingles: The Movie developed by The Giz "Definitely not timeless,
but gotta
reward Giz
for actually putting effort into something for once." - SDHawk
"A short ha ha
game" – Charbile |

Tim-Tim the Mighty Gnome developed by Spoonweaver "A
solid platformer
on an engine that doesn't natively support platformers." – Meatballsub "The
first boss (Steve? the
green fire-breathing guy) was kind of ridiculous, but overall a pretty
good game."
– FnrrfYgmSchnish |

Who Killed Dinosaur Giant? developed by Paul Harrington "I sure don't know! You'll
have to watch to find out! An OHR film,
and one of the best." – Baconlabs "It’s been a
busy two years for OHR crime thrillers, and this one certainly
doesn’t disappoint.
With sharp writing and
a fabulous dedication to its universe, Who Killed Dinosaur Giant? is
certain to entertain the psychopathic fast food mascot in all of us." – JSH357 |

Duck developed
by Joseph S Hall “JSH shares a
nostalgic, noir tinted story of his favorite toys growing up, soon
available for your SNES/Gameboy
Advance." – The Giz “Solve
a crime as a duck.
The music and dialog and graphics have me interested the whole way
through."
– Shizuma |

|
Batman & Robin developed by RedMaverickZero "Everything
is in its place
in this game. Batman, The Batcave,
all of it! The feel of the levels and the game segmentation are perfect." - Shizuma
"It
may be a fan-game, but
it's got a lot of originality." - Spoonweaver |

Triangle
developed by SDHawk “One of the more
controversial games released for the engine, which succeeds in creating
a disturbing and unsettling atmosphere regardless of whether or not its
message hits home.” – JSH357
"Hawk and JSH share a
nostalgic, noir tinted story of when Mr. Triangle used to be a raging
homophobe. Best entry out of the OHR Movie contest, and is symbolicly
stealing OHR House's place on my list. SNES/Gameboy
Advance." – The Giz
